Megunica was born out of one artists admiration for another. Lorenzo Fonda, skateboarder/director, was so inspired by Blu’s work he knew had to share with the world. The best forum for Lorenzo to do that was obvious film, and Megunica was born.

Megunica, follows Blu through Mexico, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Argentina. The only goal was to meet local artists along the way. What spawns from this is a documentary about self exploration and appreciation for community.

Blu’s work was displayed throughout the premier this past evening. Strung from simple clothing line that wrapped around the theater, each ink drawing told a little story.
