“Marka” meaning to write in spanish. Born in the border town of Juarez Mexico, later raised in East Dallas. An artist all his life, but had no serious direction until highschool. Inspired by early 90’s street artist Ras13, Marka began to write. He had always felt that using a can was much more difficult than a brush.
Incorporating his love of music into his art, Marka created the Mini God Speakers. A large vinyl sculpture with a working speaker built in.
This Saturday SURU will be hosting Marka27, as he prepares to drop his latest vinyl, the Killa Instinct. Marka’s Killa Instinct inspired by his graffiti roots.Markers, bolt cutters,gas masks spray cans and four finger rings.
The Killa Instinct is limited to 300 pieces WORLDWIDE. SURU will have 50 on hand… so show up early !
